Eight years ago, Sara bought 17 acres of wooded mountain land in the central mountain coffee-growing area of Honduras and had a beautiful home built for her “retirement.” She has continued her volunteer projects, including two fundraiser concerts and donations of books in English at three nearby libraries, plus weekly classes in English, Human Values and Yoga for two small village schools.
Now in her 76th year, she is selling her villa and property to the CCEP Project for the creation of a tourist attraction that will bring much-needed jobs to the many young unemployed graduates of Santa Rosa de Copan, and prosperity to the small, attractive colonial city. She is planning a real retirement to be near family and medical resources in the U.S. when the CCEP Project has been solidly funded and launched.
