How To Help Us

CCEP is designed to be a permanent contribution to the culture of the citizens of the Municipality of Santa Rosa de Copan. It is protecting 17 acres of precious forest, a stream, organic fruit trees, vegetable and flower gardens with Permaculture, as well as a sanctuary for rare birds and exotic butterflies.
Classes in modern organic farming, Honduran history, environmental awareness, ecology, yoga, English, healthy cooking and other subjects will be taught here. Space for meetings, small conferences, workshops and other events will also be available.

We are proud to say that CCEP is a model project for other small cities and developing countries that want to create a tourist destination for prosperity and jobs for young graduates. Therefore, the property must be purchases first, the road and nature trails, a well and mens` and womens` bathrooms expanded and parking space provided for the main permanent infrastructure.
This the necessary groundwork that must be laid in the first year`s budget through the major donations totaling $750,000. (See CCEP Budget Summary at the end of this page.) It sounds like a lot, but in the second year, the budget should go down to about $160,000 to be raised by donations, and by the third year, we hope to be self-sufficient at about that same $160,000.

What we need now are contacts to philanthropists to adopt CCEP, possibly as a long-term pet project. We need the $750,000 start-up fund. We need volunteers (who can live on-site or off-site at present) for website management and fundraising. We appreciate it when you visit www.facebook.com/culturalcenterecopark , click the “like” button  and share our project with your friends, family and other contacts.

Your donations can come directly and simply to the CCEP bank account by using the CCEP Visa Debit Card:

This is totally protected by Banco Occidente, Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras, Central America, one of the country`s largest and oldest banks, established 50 years ago, with branches in all major towns and cities of Honduras.
